This is your chance to get creative and invent a new game within the requirements of this challenge, and demonstrate the game being played in a virtual environment. VEX Robotics Competition Promote AwardOpens: Wed, Sep 13, 2017 9:00 AM CDT
Closes: Wed, Jan 10, 2018 1:00 PM CST The Promote Award is presented to a VEX Robotics Competition (VRC) or VEX U team that has created and submitted an outstanding promotional video. The goal of this video is to help the team introduce itself in the community, to help recruit new students and mentors, and to gain support for the team. This video may be about the team, the program, the competition, the design and build process, the robot itself, or any theme the team believes can help promote its VEX Robotics program in their community. FUTURE Foundation Recycling ChallengeOpens: Wed, Sep 13, 2017 9:00 AM CDT
Closes: Wed, Jan 10, 2018 1:00 PM CST With 10 years of VRC games we know there many old game elements out there, so we are challenging teams to take a look in storage rooms and closets to find those old stars, Skyrise pieces, cubes, balls, etc. Think of a creative plan to give old VRC game objects a new purpose. Consider making something to assist a teacher or students in a classroom, or something that can make simple tasks around the home or office a little easier. Closes: Wed, Jan 10, 2018 1:00 PM CST This challenge is to develop a website that promotes your entire robotics program – your VEX IQ Challenge, VEX Robotics Competition, or VEX U team(s) and any other robotics programs you participate in, your outreach activities, how to join, what you have done, who you are, where you are, and what you plan to do in the future.
